Ringers — Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Ringers Sport Pty Ltd ("Ringers", "we", "us") covering your use of the Ringers mobile app. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Ringers (and old enough to form a binding agreement, or have a parent/guardian's consent).
• Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure — you're responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person; don't impersonate others.

2. Community rules — zero tolerance for abuse

Ringers is built on trust between players. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not post or send content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, or spam. You must not misuse reviews (fake ratings, retaliation, harassment).

Every profile, post, comment, and message can be reported, and any user can be blocked. We review reports promptly — normally within 24 hours — and will remove content and suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules.

3. Events, sport, and safety

• Events on Ringers are organised by users, not by us. Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their event details (venue, time, cost, level).
• Sport involves physical activity and inherent risk. You participate in events at your own risk and are responsible for judging your own fitness and ability. Ringers does not supervise, run, or insure events.
• Meet strangers sensibly: public venues, and use the app's profiles, ratings, and reviews to inform your decisions.

4. Costs and payments

Hosts may state a per-player cost (e.g. splitting a venue fee). Any payment is made directly between players outside the app. Ringers is not a party to these arrangements, does not process the money, and is not responsible for refunds or disputes — though repeated payment misconduct reflected in reviews and reports may lead to account action.

5. Reviews and ratings

After an event, hosts and players may rate each other (punctuality, payment, level accuracy, organisation and similar). Reviews must be honest and based on the event. We may remove reviews that violate these terms.

6. Your content

You own the content you post. You grant Ringers a licence to host, display, and distribute it within the app so the service can function. Don't post content you don't have the right to share.

7. Termination

You can stop using Ringers and delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for other users, or misuse the service.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Ringers is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose consumer guarantees are not excluded), we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for the conduct of other users, or for anything that happens at user-organised events.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be noted on this page and, where appropriate, in the app. Continuing to use Ringers after changes means you accept them.

10. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
